This website is the result of a partnership between the OFB and the CNPMEM.
The Comité National des Pêches Maritimes et des Elevages Marins (CNPMEM) is a private-sector organization with public-service missions, governed by articles L912-1 et seq. of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code. It brings together all professional fishermen and marine aquaculturists. It represents and defends their general interests in dealings with national and European public authorities, and participates in the management of fisheries resources within the framework of responsible fishing and sustainable development.
The OFB is a public administrative body, created by law no. 2019-773 of July 24, 2019, under the dual authority of the Ministries of the Environment and Agriculture, set up to protect and restore biodiversity.
